Quality Means Careful Processing
Our customers justly expect products of the highest quality. For Prolactal this means quality management is a major success factor. Our aim is to continuously improve all processes within the business following the Plan – Do – Check – Act model. In this way we strive to match our customers' requirements as closely as possible.
Due to its numerous certifications, Prolactal fulfils the standards of a variety of interest groups within the food production supply chain. For us it is only natural that we produce our goods in accordance with the strict ISO 9001:2000 guidelines. Additional certifications for the organic quality of our products, as well as for hygiene management, serve as acknowledgements of our pioneering role in terms of quality management. Regular external and internal audits guarantee that our internal processes are regularly assessed for adherence to the standards and improved. Furthermore, numerous chemical and microbiological testing procedures carried out in the Hartberg plant laboratory as well as in external independent laboratories ensure that our product quality remains constantly high, right down to the smallest unit.
For all production lines for products intended for human consumption, the HACCP team of Prolactal draws up HACCP plans ("Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points"). These plans constitute one of the most important measures for the prevention of health risks. Critical hazard parameters are set by analysing and weighing potential hazards, and are subsequently monitored continuously. In addition, both preventative and corrective measures are defined and documented in case there are discrepancies.
Prolactal's quality management procedures are documented in a manual, as well as in process and procedural descriptions. Our values and the rationale underlying our actions are reflected in our quality policy. This policy is summarised in the binding principles below, and is always in line with ethical considerations:
